How I Incorporate God Into My Life                   In the Morning the first thing I do is thank God for waking me up. One way I incorporate God in my life is praying. You can never go wrong with praying and it's a very easy hing you can do. Just talking to God is very calming. Another way is listening to music. These are some songs I listen to https://youtu.be/7JXFg5KEoXg (Never would've made it by Marvin Sapp) and https://youtu.be/gIPMllUV12o (My life is in your hands by Kirk Franklin). Another way is by having my backround something related to God. I also meditate and stop to think about God.

It foreshadows the coming of Jesus Christ. It has other stories too like Departure  from Horeb, Defeat of Sihon, Feast of the Passover, and more. There are 12 curses in  Deuteronomy: Slavery and Captivity Having no power to stand against the enemies Being sent back to Egypt by ship Exiled in the land of their enemies Scattered among all nations Sick and diseased people At the bottom of other races socially Lose the knowledge of who they are and will be called many scornful names  Put in jail Non-prosperous people Oppressed by their enemies Very religious and members of all religeons The book of Joshua is about Israel's conquest of Canaan to the Babylonian exile. In this book Joshua (Moses son)  led the Israelites to Canaan. However the Canaanites refused to turn over thei

The Book of Numbers and Leviticus                  The book of  Leviticus is about laws. There are a variety of laws like laws when sacrificing, unlawful sexual relations, and other important laws. The book of Numbers is about history. In the book of  Numbers it talks about Moses and the Israelites. Like the story of complaining and grumbling, The story of Aaron and Miriam's jealousy of Moses, and how some Israelites were jealous or even rebelled. In another story the people argue with Moses because they are facing hardships of the wilderness. God tells Moses to strike a rock with his staff so that the rock will produce water for the Israelites and their cattle.

Leviticus 1-13                 This week we learned about and read Leviticus 1-13. It was about Cleanliness and God speaking to Moses and Aaron. God told Moses and Aaron about skin diseases. Diseases like Leprosy, scabs, etc. Whoever had these diseases had to go to Aaron. It also talks about sacrifices. Like grain offerings, animal offerings, etc. It has specific rules on how to go about them too. Then there rituals about cleanliness and sin.

This worried pharaoh because he thought that they might one day revolt  and with their many numbers they could win.So he ordered every newborn Hebrew male be killed. Moses's  mother sent Moses to the river so Pharaoh's army wouldn't find him. His sister kept watch to make sure  nothing happened to him in the river. The princess found him  and decided to take him in. She named him  Moses because he came from the river. He then grew up as one of Pharaoh's people.

The Story of Abraham                   God told Abram to leave his fathers land. He told him that he will give him gret nations. Abram was upset because he wouldnt have children.Since his wife couldnt have kids she told the maid Hagar to have Abrams children. They then had a son named Ishmael. God then told Abram that he will change his name to Abraham and his wife to Sarah. He also said he would give Abraham and his wife a child. Abraham laughed because he did not believe God. His wife was 99 and he was100so they had no chance of having children. But they did and as God told them they named his Issac. He left and had many nations.
Cain and Abel            When Adam and Eve were kicked out of the garden they had to do everything themselves. Eve gave birth to her first son, Cain. Cain's job was to tend to the crops. Then Eve gave birth to her second son Abel. Abel's job was to tend to the sheep. As they were older they disobeyed their parents just like Adam and Eve disobeyed God. Cain was always angry at Abel. God tried to warn Cain that anger only leads to sin, but he did not listen. Its was time to make an offering to God. Cain offered food from his crops while Abel offered a baby lamb. God accepted Abel's offering but not Cain's, this made him very angry. Cain was so upset that he killed his own brother by hitting him on the head with a rock. Cain tried to hide from God but he couldn't. Cains punishment was that no produce will come from the land that farms and that no one shall kill him or they will be punished tenfold. He then marked Cains head so everyone would know not to kill him.

BOOKS OF THE BIBLE                            The old testament is about the loving relationship between God and the Hebrew people.Just because the old testament is old doesn't men that it is any less important, it can still teach us.The old testament is divided into 4 major categories: Books of law , Historical books , Wisdom books , and Phophetic books.  The old testament and the new testament are both important. You cannot understand one without the other. There are steps to take when writing the form of the bible. The considerable steps for writing the gospel are: People experience God People share the stories verbally People write down the stories Religious leaders select the central writings to be apart of the scripture People speaking different languages translate the bible into their own languages.
